Prison Ministry
We
maintain two full-time chaplains who minister to new inmates who are processed
into the prison system.
Richard Smith is our chaplain at Brushy Mountain
Prison. Richard is now in his 21st year as chaplain, but has been
associated with
Brushy Mountain Prison in
Ronnie Shelton is our chaplain at the Riverbend
Maximum Security Facility and the Charles Bass Correctional Complex in
Riverbend Maximum Security Institute in
Brother Jack travels to
thirteen different prisons throughout the state each month. He holds a service
and ministers to an average of two hundred and fifty inmates.
